In 2017, our team designed and fabricated a combustion engine-powered go-kart for the Go-Kart Design Challenge (GKDC). Building on lessons learned, a subsequent go-kart was developed for the next season, leading to an overall runner-up position and various awards in the event.

Electric-Go Kart

Transitioning from combustion to electric, our team at TIET designed and built an electric go-kart, debuting in the Indian Karting Championship (IKC) Season-5 with a notable 3rd place finish. Recognized for the best design presentation, we're now geared up for more electrifying competitions ahead.

Introducing the Quad Torc Concept in 2020, our team achieved widespread acclaim and secured the overall runners-up position, a testament to our dedication to innovation. Crafted for the EFFI cars competition, our solar-powered electric vehicle aimed at energy efficiency, winning the best design award in 2016. Currently, our focus shifts to implementing a drive-by-wire system, marking the next phase in our commitment to sustainable and innovative transportation.

IC-Go Kart

In 2017, our team crafted a combustion engine-powered go-kart for the Go-Kart Design Challenge (GKDC), achieving an AIR of 27 out of 190 teams nationally and winning the 2nd best acceleration award. Building on this, we developed another go-kart for the subsequent season, leading to an overall runner-up position and multiple awards in the next event.
